Madi's Friends is a 501(c)3 charity dedicated to raising awareness about Dravet Syndrome, a progressive childhood neurological disorder that afflicts many children every year. Currently, there is no cure for this debilitating and degenerative syndrome, and the prognosis for children affected with it is not good. More importantly, it is often misdiagnosed as a result of the symptoms that the child presents at a very early age.

 

Our goal is to educate doctors, nurses, parents and other health care professionals about this syndrome because it has been shown that early intervention can have a tremendous impact on the lives of those children that suffer from Dravet Syndrome.
